So far, so good. Only two treatments so far, but the Lawn Doctor of McHenry has made a big difference to the greenness and thickness of my lawn. Looking forward to my next treatment.

This franchise (McHenry) is greedy to the core! Gives new meaning to the word "greed"! Do not use, walk away! I live in Round Lake and went to the "Lawn Doctor" in Lake villa, which is only 10 minutes from my house, and had a great rapport with this company and the person (Robbie) that I dealt with! Made my appointments, prepaid for services, and was feeling really good, left and went home! I get home and I get a phone call saying that they can't do my yard because it's within a radius to where the McHenry Lawn Doctor "RULES"! Which is like a half hour now away from my house! I will now look somewhere else for my lawn care needs!

I reached out to this company via their website to get a quote on comprehensive lawn service. I have about two or 2.5 acres of lawn in the midst of many many acres of dense woods. I have lots of plantings/gardens and many hundred+ year old trees. I think it was worthy of someone coming out and looking at my unusual situation for an expensive contract. But no, They just said , we see that you have about 3 acres and we sent a quote to your email. The person Who answers the phone at this location was terrible. She needs to be sent to a customer service class. My interaction with her was so poor that there is no way I would pursue service with this company location.

After using Mchenry Lawn Dr for 2 seasons my yard is the worst on the block. My neighbors have no service and look better than mine. They show up when they want, don't come around for months. I tried to talk to them and all they wanted was the last payment and to blame everyone but themselves. Look at the picture of my yard after 2 seasons of service. Beware of this company. They have bad reviews everywhere but here. Very weird! Almost like the positive reviews are on here are bought! Check them out on Yelp for a reliable review. Beware of this company!
