Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no sign-in, no trial, and no paid tier to upgrade to.
Do you collect my data?
Your calculator inputs are saved only in Chrome extension storage on your device so the five tools can reuse them. The soil-temperature tool sends the ZIP code you type to fetch a current reading. The extension does not collect your browsing history or account information.
Do I need an account?
No. Click the toolbar icon and you get a result the moment it opens, no sign-in required.
Does it work offline?
Fertilizer, lawn size, watering, and cost work fully offline. Soil temperature needs a connection to fetch the current reading for your ZIP.
How do I open it quickly?
Pin it to your toolbar for a one-click open, or press Alt+Shift+G from any tab.
Which grass types are supported?
All the common US lawn grasses, including Bermuda, Zoysia, Tall Fescue, Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, and St. Augustine.
Keep the calculators one click away.
