  I called Sunnyside Landscapes at the suggestion of my realtor, and I'm SO GLAD I did! Unlike some of the big companies that you have to email to get an appointment to talk to someone, Chuck Langfeldt answers his own phone. Chuck and Matt were wonderful to work with. I loved the creative options they gave me for plants, and appreciated them listening when I had suggestions as well. They installed a huge patio, retaining walls, sidewalk, wildflowers on our hillside, plants and sod. Chuck, Matt and their team are HARD workers. But I guess what I appreciated the most was how they listened and made plans based on our requests. For example, I told them I wanted larger trees put in because we are seniors and want to be able to see our trees and shrubs get to a good size. Not only did they plant large specimens for us, but they were considerate for our age in other work without being asked. As you can see in the pictures, there is only one shallow step from the screen porch to patio. There had been two steep steps originally and Sunnyside brought in loads of soil to bring the yard up to where we have an easier time getting in and out of the house. You can also see they brought the side yard up so it is level from the garage, through the service door to the sidewalk, instead of having a big step down. This was a LOT of work, and we didn't even think to ask for it, but boy are we glad for it! We love the retaining walls and they hold back the hillside, as well as were designed so our grandkids are safe when running on them. Chuck and Matt are super considerate when we had questions, even giving us thorough plant care suggestions for fall and spring when I called and requested it. Sunnyside takes great pride in their work, as well they should. I enthusiastically recommend them for your landscape needs.

  amazing work on our patio as well as grading clearing and seeding around a new building. rapid response to communication, completed on time, well priced, meticulous work. And Chuck is nice.

  We were referred to Chuck & team by our deck builder and could not be more pleased. This past fall, they installed a gorgeous paver patio that matches our new deck perfectly and completely redid the landscaping on the side of our house, including totally regrading and improving drainage, new river rock garden beds and lots of new perennials. During the quoting and design processes, Chuck was so helpful in guiding our choices of pavers, plants, overall project scope, etc. When Chuck noticed that 2 of the plants reserved for our project were different heights, he called me right away and suggested waiting to finish planting rather than proceed with installing ones that didn't match. He proposed waiting until spring to ensure he had a matching pair. I was so grateful for the honesty and integrity. I probably would have never realized on my own that plants with mismatched heights were unintentional! Chuck is so dedicated to his designs, and I could tell he felt strongly about getting it done right rather than just getting it done quickly. The plants have yet to bloom this year, but I'm looking forward to enjoying our new outdoor space this summer!

  I recently enjoyed working with Sunnyside on a landscaping project for my backyard. I was very impressed with their professionalism, communication, and the quality of their work. From the start, Sunnyside took the time to listen to my vision for our front and backyard and understood my needs. They presented me with various options that fit my budget and style. I was particularly impressed with their creativity and ability to develop solutions I had not considered. Once we had a plan, Sunnyside kept me updated on their progress every step of the way. They were always responsive to my questions and concerns. The work was completed on time and within budget. I am thrilled with the results of the project. My backyard looks amazing! The quality of the work is top-notch. I highly recommend Sunnyside to anyone looking for a landscaping company that listens, communicates well, and does high-quality work.   The owner of this business, Chuck, had done multiple landscaping projects for us during the past 12 years. He has always been very helpful in planning each project and making sure that it gets done correctly. His crews do great work and clean up after each project. Many of our friends and neighbors have been impressed with the quality of the work done. Chuck has always been very responsive to our requests and concerns. His advice has always been correct, even when he suggests something other than what we thought should be done. He and his crews have been timely in getting projects done. Completed projects have stood the test of time very well - these include our wonderful patio and firepit, 3 block retaining walls, a boulder wall, two raised bed gardens, a berm along the rear of our backyard with many plantings in it, plantings along the side of our garage. His advice re appropriate plants to use in various situations has been excellent.
