May 29, 2026. The accumulated efforts of True Green are fantastic! Individual applications take time to be effective. I refuse to write a review every time a service is provided because results are not immediate. The technicians have always been professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Being a long time customer should speak volumes.

The person showed up when he was scheduled to show up, answered some questions and spread the fertilizer and left. He was very polite and professional as have all their employees been. The yard and hedge look great. This is a great company. If your grass and shrubs need help I would recommend calling TruGreen.

I've been using them for two years, and I'm going to switch. Their "one size fits all" treatments have done nothing to stop my crabgrass invasion, have only partially knocked-out broadleaf weeds, and have done nothing to thicken my Kentucky Bluegrass turf. I've spent the summer pulling weeds by hand, and wondering what it is I'm paying TruGreen for??!! I recently asked the technician what they can do to knock out the crabgrass in my yard. She said they have nothing for me that will not also kill the Kentucky bluegrass that is my lawn. I just finished applying a crabgrass herbicide that does not affect Kentucky Bluegrass, and more than ever wondering "What am I paying TruGreen for??!!" PS-don't fall for the tree treatment up-sell you will get not long after you start their service. I was home a few weeks ago when they came out for the tree treatment. It consisted of a half hearted squirt of liquid that went no higher than halfway up the tree. Worse yet, the squirt was to just one side of the tree. The technician did not even walk around to the other side to half heartedly apply whatever it was he was applying. Trugreen agreed to provide a refund of the balance of what I paid for this treatment. TruGreen-please do not bother with your "we apologize, are concerned, and care about our customers" response to my review. That of course, is the public facing response that serves you (not me) best. You are doing simple lawn care – it's not rocket science! If you truly did care, you would produce acceptable results. You neither care nor produce acceptable results. PS-TruGreen will respond to my review even though I've asked them to not bother. They want you to see what appears to be a concerned and caring company. Don't fall for it!!

I called them asking about one service- and stated I'm only looking for one service. The guy tried upselling me to a plan a bit south of 1 grand. Told him I'll talk to my wife first when she's home from work- I get the advantage of the plan, but I was only looking for one type of service. He then stated and assumed my wife was right next to me,and said that I don't need to ask her- he started turning into a bit of a jerk. I'm guessing he's not married or if he is- he won't be married much longer with that kind of attitude. I like being married, so I as my wife before deciding to drop a grand on lawn care. Regardless, I said I will call him back if we decide to go with them for the service I was requesting. I think he knew he lost the sale due to his attitude. Now in the last 24 hours I have received 8 phone calls. I keep blocking the numbers- they keep calling from different numbers- I will not waste a minute talking with them, but I will take time to write this review. I have already scheduled my service elsewhere (who were not assuming pushy jerks) and will never recommend Trugreen to anyone.
