  My husband and I have lived next to Wendland Tree Nursery for nearly 26 years, and throughout that time, the Wendland family and their team have been wonderful neighbors and a pleasure to work with. Over the years, they have planted numerous trees on our property, and every one of them is thriving. They have also built a beautiful retaining wall, supplied decorative rock for our pool area, and provided sod, topsoil, and seed for our backyard. We have purchased our mulch from them every other year, and this year we had them deliver and spread it as well. They did a great job, and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. It has been a pleasure working with Josh and Liz, and we appreciate the positive impact they continue to have on the Germantown community.

  We replaced 3 mature arborvitae trees last year. We used Wendland Landscape including installation. (+$500) All locations had proper manual and automated irrigation. After changing out 2 of the new trees (that failed), only 2/3 survived a second time. Wendland refused any further warranty/accomodation. This Spring we removed the 2 dead trees to find both were badly root bound and should have never been planted without trimming & loosening and pre-soaking the root ball. We replaced the trees again this year from another nursery at additional cost and the new trees are all thriving at the exact same locations. Sorry….we can not recommend this as a source for your trees or their live plantings warranty. **And…. YES we did contact you directly and got the same response. You made no attempt to witness what we found or work with your distributor. So have to assume this will happen to others as well. Your installers were (apparently) summer high school hires w/o knowledge of how to prep a root ball or pre soak these trees before planting. We learned a hard lesson for +$500.

  We had a tight timeframe to get some hardscape and landscape work completed before a bridal shower and then a graduation party. Josh and his team went above and beyond to get everything completed in time and on budget. Everything looked great! We received many compliments on the work they did.

  We have used Wendlands 3 times over the last 5 years for landscaping projects. Every time the result is better than we could have imagined. Josh is great for offering suggestions that will work for the property and ultimately make the end result of our new landscaping that much more amazing. I highly recommend Wendland.

  We were very pleased with Wendland's. They just helped us get sod in our back yard prior to a Grad party. They went above and beyond to get this done with a very quick turn around time and it looks amazing! They were here when they said they would be and communicated along the way even working to get us in early. The yard looked amazing and they kept cleaning up as they did the work. I wish all contractors worked like this. Thanks to the whole team for the amazing work. We WILL be back.
