I wanted to wait for a full season of change before I wrote a review of our experience with Bret Achtenhagen's Seasonal Services. I feel that I can write an honest and detailed review at this point. We had a large project that was to be completed after our new build in Washington County. This project consisted of ground sprinklers, bed drip lines, concrete drive and stoops, several outlying beds, plantings, landscape lighting, some seed and some sod and maintenance services. Our first point of contact was Brady Achtenhagen. Brady was a prompt, professional and detail-oriented individual. We were not sure of our exact landscape design and Brady worked through several drawings with us, offering ideas and suggestions that we never even thought of. He even suggested a fencing company for us as we were installing a black wright iron fence in a dog run. The fencing company and Seasonal worked very well together. After the final design, approval and deposit; Brady set his team into motion and we were connected with Matt, the project manager. Matt is yet another prompt, professional and detailed individual. We were extremely comfortable with Matt from the beginning. We had some on-the-fly changes that Matt made work. He answered all our questions, educated us and orchestrated an perfect project on point and on schedule. He was prompt in answering phone calls and accepted on site meetings as needed. Each part of this project was followed by the next with a break in schedule or quality. Phil, the concrete manager, was a pleasure to work with and is truly an artist in concrete. After 2 winters, our drive looks like it did the first day it was installed. No cracks, discolorations or movement. Our stamped and colored concrete walk is a work of art. It is still as beautiful as the day it was installed. Phil also educated us on the care and maintenance of the concrete, and it remains in perfect shape. Martin is the irrigation manger and another detailed individual. He carefully and skillfully mapped out the irrigation and drip lines so precisely and even walked around the property with us as we drew out a map of all sprinkler lines and heads. He carefully checked each head to make sure it was working properly and reaching the areas it needed to. The drip lines were also installed, and he showed us how they worked, blow out lines and educated us in maintenance and use. The rain system was then explained thoroughly. We had absolutely no questions when Martin was done and felt comfortable and confident in using the entire irrigation system. The plantings were carefully selected and planted. We have very specific HOA regulations on the thickness of the trunks of trees as well as how many trees needed to be planted. Brady went through each planting in the beginning planning process showing us the trees we selected and what the trees would look like at maturity. We knew exactly what we were going to end up with. They planted each tree per plan, and they look beautiful. The landscape lighting was next and turned out beautifully. Each bed and tree are lit up perfectly and the fixtures look amazing. Lastly the seed and sod. We elected to sod our dog’s run. The sod went in quickly, knowing the urgency of getting it in for the dogs to have their area. Once it was installed, the irrigation was brought through the sod and tested and then we were good to go. The seed was laid and watered with the irrigation system and literally came up in weeks. A nice thick blanket of straw was laid to protect the seed and it was perfect. We also use Seasonal for our start up and shut down of our irrigation, weed and feed and reseeding of our lawn when/if needed. To wrap up this review, I would give Bret Achtenhagen's Seasonal Services a 10 out of 10 on this entire project. If home builders could run a project like Seasonal Services, it would be amazingly easy, pleasurable and stress-free to build a house. Truly an amazing experience and we would highly recommend Seasonal Services for your landscaping needs.

John, Steven, Nate and his crew were outstanding. The entire process was smooth and John gave us great recommendations for plants that worked with our plan. The landscaping looks amazing and we could not be happier with the finished product. We definitely recommend Bret Achtenhagen’s Seasonal Services. They provide very high quality work.

I have used Seasonal Services for several landscape projects one of which was adding a patio. I can't say enough about their consideration, knowledge, and professionalism. Everyone connected with their business was a pleasure to work with and they stand behind their work. They are very much concerned about doing an excellent job and customer satisfaction. They go the extra mile. I would not hesitate to work with them again. No need to shop around

Can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Seasonal Services. From the design process all the way through the final stone they have made every commitment and stood by all of their work. Chris and Phil (and there hard working teams) have always been available if something needed to be fixed. Phil came over on a Saturday to finish an important piece of work we needed done for a summer party we were having. I’d recommend them to anyone. Great people!!

This is my second large project with Seasonal Service. The projects required landscape infrastructure work for erecting a shed. In the most current project I worked with John Henderson on the planning and design. It started in the spring of 2025 but for various reasons on my side did not execute untill fall of 2025. John and I meet numerous times to go over the details and was patient with me as I added scope to the project. John did an excellent job on the design. The concrete crew and the landscapping crew were on time and professional. Construction as you may be aware can tear appart a lawn. Seasonal Services did an excellent job repairing the damaged areas. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service experience and with the install team. I will use them on other projects and highly recommend them for your projects.
