  Hi highly recommend Green Lawn!! They did a great job installing our new system here in Vilas county. Honest, ontime, very efficient & fair pricing. When complete, the clean up was great. We love our new irrigation system. Wally & Adam are simply the best.

  Decent work, terrible communication. Had them do our residential lawn with irrigation. We had a verbal agreement on the month that installation would take place, only for that month to pass by without any follow up or communication of a delay. Frequent calls to the office only got us excuses and more vague timelines. When work finally began, everything went quickly and smoothly outside of their excavation damaging our fiber internet line, leaving us disconnected for days until a technician could come out and lay a new cable. When the outage occurred, we spoke with the workers on our property who insisted it wasn't their fault and that it'd be on us to figure out our internet problem. There's also the promise of complimentary fertilizations and automatically scheduled irrigation services, but those are also poorly communicated. You might receive a phone call the day before if you're lucky, otherwise they'll just show up and leave unannounced with an invoice being the only notification you get that they did something. We do ultimately enjoy the lawn and landscaping Green Thumb gave us, but getting to that point wasn't a positive experience. They can get good quality work done quite quickly, but it comes at the sacrifice of customer service and clear communication.

  I debated for a long time if I should post a review. I just pulled into my driveway and looked at my yard and as usual, my mind started going over all the things I need to do this fall… and all the things I want to start in the spring. Which made me think of Green Thumb again. In the fall of 2024 I called and said “hey! I have stuff I want to do in the spring! I want you to come out and see what I have going on and let’s talk about it!” I was told that they were not doing estimates any more that year and they took my info and said I would hear from them in the spring. Late February 2025 I decided to call to touch base with them and let them know I was still interested in having them do work for me. I was told again I would be contacted at some point. I called again in early May… and was told “We have your information, some people have been waiting over a year for projects to be done. We will call you”. It’s the end of October 2025. No one called No one came out to give me any estimates. Look, I get it - you are busy and maybe you don’t have enough staff. But at least tell a person that up front. I’m very pissed off. Not because you were too busy to do anything, but at the lack of any communication. If you were unable to take on new business because of your existing obligations - I understand that and I would not be pissed off if I was told that. Telling me you would contact me (multiple times) and then leaving me hanging for a whole year is really not cool.

  We used their dirt to level and grade our yard they got dirt to us the same day we called and even got us more when we underestimated how much we needed.
