We recently hired Moss & Petal to refresh our landscaping, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, Sydney was incredibly responsive. She replied almost immediately to my inquiry and even stopped by that same day (on a weekend!) to look at the project. I came to our meeting with plenty of opinions but not much of a plan. Before the visit was over, Sydney had turned those ideas into thoughtful, on-the-spot recommendations for edging, plantings, pruning, and the overall design of three landscape beds. Over the next few days she refined the design, answered our questions, and quickly put together a detailed quote. Less than two weeks after our first meeting, the project was underway. The work itself was exceptional. The team started by removing years of weeds, old pavers, and overgrowth before refreshing the beds with new soil and mulch. Their arborist did a fantastic job restoring an overgrown willow tree that had needed attention for years. Every day the crew worked incredibly hard—often until the sun was setting—and they always cleaned up before leaving. Sydney kept us updated throughout the project and made sure we were happy every step of the way. One of the things we appreciated most was Sydney's eye for design. I basically handed her a wish list of flowers and indecision. She took it all in stride, offering thoughtful suggestions and ultimately creating a beautiful planting plan using native, hardy perennials with staggered bloom times that fit the varying sun and shade conditions throughout our yard. The project was completed in less than a week, and Sydney even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was settling in well. After reaching out to several landscapers who never returned our calls, Sydney's responsiveness stood out immediately—and that level of communication never changed throughout the project. The professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic of Sydney and her team were outstanding from start to finish. I would recommend Moss & Petal without hesitation to anyone looking for landscaping services. The finished landscaping is beautiful, but what impressed me most was how easy Sydney made the entire process. From the first text through the final walkthrough, we always knew what was happening and never had to wonder if something had been overlooked. For years, we looked at that bed and saw weeds, random plantings, and a project we always meant to get around to. Thanks to Sydney's thoughtful design, we're excited to watch it mature, fill in, and enjoy how it evolves over the coming seasons.

Sydney did a fantastic job weeding the perimeter of our house. She was super friendly, clearly knew exactly what she was doing, and got right to work without needing much direction. Fast, efficient, and thorough—I'll definitely be hiring her again!
