  I have to say, I have bought many EGO products from Homesteaders Madison and Homesteader Richland Center. I love the customer service and I have not found it to be a problem at all! I feel a part of the family atmosphere they have there. Do I have to wait while staff are talking to other customers, sure! That's not a problem to me! In fact, I see that as a positive. Being busy can also mean that they are great at their job! I would hope that if I was there first, they would help me first. I have been in the store when they have had just a massive of influx of customers. It happens and not everyone can be helped instantly. They always acknowledge me and say, we will be with you shortly, to which I typically respond, no rush. I have also dropped units for repair at both locations and have found that they are done in a very timely manner. They may reach back out to you asking if a part purchase is okay before just doing, and as long as you communicate back to them, they will do it and get it back to you. Sometimes I need to wait on a part, but that is not on Homesteaders, that's on the supply shortage, or the company that sends it. Overall, I love the staff and I love the service I have received here. I think that patience is key and is so different than what we expect at times. Thank you Homesteaders Crew!!

  Went to start my rtv x1100c and the new battery was dead!!! Everything that happens it absolutely infuriates me. I paid them $1,400.00 and they fixed nothing. They told me they unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it appeared to reset itself. Also I asked for an alignment and they put air in the tires, absolutely 💯 laziness, I had to put new tires on again last week. Do not buy anything from this dealership nor trust them for service!!!

  If you want to buy tractors or implements from people who actually use them and can provide insight, then this is your place. Friendly and down to earth people, both from a sales perspective and the maintenance and office folks. Pricing was also better than other local dealers.

  Was great place to buy my tractor from. Rick was easy to work with and very informative about everything with the tractor and attachments. Was just delivered today and couldn’t be happier!

  Sometimes the gems are right under your nose. I'm a local independent Logger, I've driven by the Homesteader store numerous times and never once considered buying any tools,saws,logging equipment etc..etc.. from a place that sells mowers,tractors and what not. I walked in with zero intentions of buying anything,just had time to look around.I left with 2 saws and other things. Best part is... Nobody acted like a salesman but everyone was willing to get you the best service and price possible and that they did!! Stores like this are a dying breed,I will no longer send out for saws, equipment accessories or whatever they handle in store,I usually don't ever give reviews good or bad but I'll say 5 stars aren't enough for The Homesteader Store!
