Silver Mist Gardens was paid $870 to install shrubs, Junipers and perennials to a newly $18,000 landscaped area that Silver Mist Landscape installed in mid August of 2025. Only 50% of the plants and shrubs they put in survived this Spring. When I asked them if they would replace the ones that died I was told no, they do not stand behind their plants they put in (he used the word warrant which means stand behind) because there are too many variables like soil conditions, weather, etc. If the soil wasn’t the right kind or mixture or a frost killed them they can’t warrant against all those variables so sorry about that. Do I really think they were sorry, no. Little roadside Mom and Pop stands that sell plants will replace items that fail without even making any excuse for why it could have failed. They prepared the soil, they planted the shrubs and plants, we watered them, covered the roots with mulch. Only half made it. My best advice to anyone wanting to use Silver Mist Gardens for their plants and shrubs is that they should look elsewhere. There are plenty of local garden merchants that will appreciate your business and give you much better service at a more reasonable price. The decision to not stand behind their product and their work was made by Justin and Dennis Timm. Too bad there is no Zero Star Rating because that is what they deserve.

Do not rent from them!!! I paid them $800 dollars for a security deposit and when I moved out they said that I didn’t and they said only paid $660 and also wouldn’t give me my money back after paying a cleaner to clean when I moved out either. They charged me a $100 dollars for “kicking in my front door”, in reality the doorknob broke from being cheap and rundown just like the whole property. They also sent people into my apartment without giving me any notice, they also turned off my power before coming in too. They think that everyone who rents from them is an awful criminal that will ruin the place. They don’t treat people fairly at all. This isn’t just with me either. I talked to several people that rented from this company and they all had awful experiences and were scammed out of their money.
